About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven Account Executive to drive revenue growth within the US SMB segment. In this role, you will own the most critical part of the customer journey: moving a prospect from "interested" to a long-term, high-value partner.
As an AE at Cognitrio, you aren't just selling a service; you are selling a transformation. You will use your deep understanding of AI-native solutions to lead complex negotiations, build business cases for stakeholders, and manage the full sales motion to consistently exceed ambitious revenue targets.
Location: This role is based in New York City, NY.
In this role, you will:
- Own the revenue target for the US SMB segment, focusing on high-growth companies ready to integrate AI into their core operations.
- Master the consultative sale, moving beyond features to pitch the high-level ROI and operational impact of Cognitrio's solutions.
- Navigate complex deal cycles, expertly managing multiple stakeholders, procurement, and security reviews to bring contracts to a close.
- Partner with Technical Ops to ensure a seamless handoff from "closed-won" to "forward-deployed," ensuring the technical solution aligns perfectly with the business case you built.
- Build a strategic pipeline, leveraging both internal SDR support and your own outbound efforts to maintain a healthy book of business.
- Communicate with intention, providing high-level updates on market trends, customer needs, and revenue forecasts.
You might thrive in this role if you:
- Have 5+ years of experience in a closing role (Account Executive or similar), with a proven track record of managing full-cycle SaaS or professional service deals.
- Are an AI enthusiast who can speak fluently about agentic workflows, LLM cost-optimization, and the broader tech ecosystem.
- Excel at "Value-Based" selling, with the ability to quantify the impact of abstract technology into concrete business outcomes (revenue saved, time gained, etc.).
- Are a closer by nature, with a history of consistently hitting or exceeding six-to-seven-figure annual quotas.
- Have deep GCP or Cloud experience alongside AI solutions, allowing you to discuss technical deployment at a high level with customers and other stakeholders.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, where "moving fast" is balanced with "getting it right" for the long-term success of the customer.

Compensation
$105K - $260K OTE + Equity
Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We share this range voluntarily to support pay transparency and align with NYC guidance as we grow.
